(KCCC) is centrally located in Kansas City, Missouri, just 15 minutes
from the International Airport. My name is Doug Hauser, and I’m the
owner and resident car nut of KCCC. I offer a very down-to-earth,
friendly, but detailed approach to the world of classic automobiles.
You will find my mode of operation a refreshing and respectful retreat
from the fast-talking, hard-driving pitches of most dealers. At KCCC,
your needs are heard, and if I have what you need, great—let’s do
business. If I don’t, I will be happy to work directly with you to find
exactly the right car, at exactly the right price.
I began my lifelong love affair with cars
over 20 years ago, and, like most car guys, have camshafts and chrome
coursing through my veins to this very day. After spending many years
in an administrative profession, I came to the not-so-astonishing
conclusion that life was too short not to do that which I love. So,
with the support of my wonderful family and friends... I embarked on
the odyssey of entrepreneurship & founded...

But let’s get down to brass tacks: What makes me different than the
“other guys” out there selling their tin cans over the vastness of the
internet? That’s easy. First, I’ve never held a sales job in my life,
much less worked in an automobile dealership. I don’t feel the need to
practice “the psychology of salesmanship” or pressure you to do, say,
or buy anything. To put it simply, my cars sell themselves, so I don’t
need the games and gimmicks that most car dealers will use to “get you
in this car TODAY!” That isn’t me. I give you more credit as an
intelligent “car guy,” and I know you know what you want. I don’t
“overpuff” the condition of my cars. I don’t mark them up to a crazy
level, just to work in enough wiggle room to make you feel like you got
a good deal. I ask a fair price for my cars given their extraordinary
condition, low miles, and documented history. In return, you get the
car of your dreams, and the peace of mind that comes from owning one of
the finest examples of the breed. Period.
Second, I carry only pristine, low mileage
original or restored cars that are impeccable in condition and
function. If anything on my site is of lesser quality than this, you
will know it up front. Some dealers will buy, sell, and trade anything
with wheels. I, on the other hand, focus exclusively on muscle cars and
luxury automobiles that have had only the best care, maintenance, and
pampering, by as few owners as possible. Before I consider buying a car
to put under the KCCC name, I am known to have several long
conversations with the owner, because I want to ensure he really is a
car guy, and loves “his baby” the way I love my own cars. This does 2
things: 1) it helps ensure that you are only shown cars of excellent
quality, and 2) the product you purchase from me will surpass your
expectations. I am not a genius by any stretch, but I do know that a
happy customer is often a repeat customer. I will live or die on my
reputation, so I make sure that you get everything you’re paying for,
and then some.
Finally, my specialty is my
individualized customer service. Because I don’t sell hundreds of cars
each year, I can take the extra time to hear your needs, answer your
questions, and follow-up with you to make sure everything went well
with our transaction. It’s too bad more classic car dealers don’t value
their clients enough to go this extra mile. But I do. Whether it’s the
by-hand-detailing each and every car receives (no swirl-causing
machines here!), personally walking around a car while I’m on the phone
with you, to making all the arrangements for delivery of your new dream
car, doing business with KCCC is a lesson in complete customer service.
